isn’t pretentious. isn’t aware of it’s self. does not care for the human race. does however seem to have a physical description…it’s carefully calculated and constructed sentences appeear to you as jolly bantor and comon man speak but however is made to look that way. my usual fashion of speech is similar, but my writing strays far away from what scum i actually am. my words. are more sophisticated than i. these words, typed across this tumble bullshit…far surpasses my intellect.. slave to the rhythm of written speech.
boring story time folks. i bet that hookd cha. this morning i was up at 3:30. (i’m used to waking up at 1 in the afternoon) i was up at that time for work. the only real interesting part of being up that early, is that the highway is completley empty. barren. deserted. but that’s it. i had fallen to bed at 12.
what i do when i get to work is unload an entire truck, seperate everything on floats, then help stock the store.
this morning when i got there the truck didnt come for another hour. i was hanging out with mike, and he shared with me his cigarette. i breathed in the smoke and burned my throat with it’s poison.
in all the time i’ve been living in NC, i’ve met a lot of people, hung out with a bunch of people, seduced a bunch of women…and well done some stupid things with some stupid people. mike is the first person i really consider my friend.
he’s 40 or 50 something. he wears a thick snow white moustache over his lip, and has harsh hands. his beer gut pushes through his shirt and he waddles, and stumbles over his thick southern accent. he’s a vietnam vet and best of all…he’s team jacob. he hates edward. so much. and hates hitchcock’s endings…but most of all…he think’s bella is a whore.
The Internet as we know it is facing a serious threat. There’s a debate heating up in Washington, DC on something called “net neutrality” – and it’s a debate that’s so important Google is asking you to get involved. We’re asking you to take action to protect Internet freedom.
In the next few days, the House of Representatives is going to vote on a bill that would fundamentally alter the Internet. That bill, and one that may come up for a key vote in the Senate in the next few weeks, would give the big phone and cable companies the power to pick and choose what you will be able to see and do on the Internet.
Today the Internet is an information highway where anybody – no matter how large or small, how traditional or unconventional – has equal access. But the phone and cable monopolies, who control almost all Internet access, want the power to choose who gets access to high-speed lanes and whose content gets seen first and fastest. They want to build a two-tiered system and block the on-ramps for those who can’t pay.
Creativity, innovation and a free and open marketplace are all at stake in this fight. Please call your representative (202-224-3121) and let your voice be heard.
I have written before, and will again, about the ineffective use of PowerPoint in all sectors. I don’t think it is inherently evil, just abused. But I have to say, my favorite quote in this piece might just be:
Senior officers say the program does come in handy when the goal is not imparting information, as in briefings for reporters.
in a world where peace and simplicty have become foriegn luxuries…is accountability really so important? is the truth always the answer? is justice always the answer? is right or wrong real? or do all these things remain outdated and unimportant concepts? does the entire planet remain in an empty shade of gray?
